The CONNECT Service
The CONNECT Service provides sexual health advice and testing for people of all ages with learning disabilities or learning difficulties.
The service runs throughout the week and aims to ensure individuals are able to easily access support and care appropriate to their needs and circumstances.
It usually best to access a service local to the area that you live in. You can check who your local service is here:
If the Wolverton is your local sexual health service then we will be able to offer support to any individual who wants it. If you have a learning disability or learning difficulty you do not have to tell us however by telling us we will be better able to ensure the support we offer is suitable to your circumstances.
People with learning disabilities or learning difficulties can refer themselves or be referred by a professional, friend, carer or family member with the individual’s permission.
When contacting us it would help us provide the best care if you / your referrer can tell us you would like to access The Connect service as you have a learning disability or learning difficulty.
Please contact us and tell us you would like to access the CONNECT Service.
How and when we talk to you will depend on what you want help with and what works best for you. We will discuss this with you when you contact us.
We no longer run a walk-in service however, we still offer same day emergency appointments and appointments in the week including evenings.
Please call the clinic on the call centre number below before attending and we can then ensure to book you into the correct appointment type.
