Not all STIs (sexually transmitted infections) cause symptoms and not all symptoms are caused by STIs. Understanding about STIs can help you find the right support for testing, diagnosis and management.

Common infections such as Candida (thrush), Bacterial Vaginosis and Cystitis (urine infection) are not STIs and can be self-managed with treatment from a pharmacy or GP. Please contact your local pharmacy or visit the NHS website for advice:

We are no longer able to run a walk in service – please do not attend the service without calling first. If you do attend the service during our call centre opening times without an appointment you will be assessed for emergency care and safety and then assisted to book a future appointment for an appropriate time.
We no longer run a walk-in service however, we still offer same day emergency appointments and appointments in the week including evenings.
